The Financial Analyst I is responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements. The Financial Analyst I will prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal, government and private regulatory reports. Job duties also include participating in the annual budgeting process and with external audits.
Job Roles
- Assists in preparing and completing a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports and required filings. Verifies the accuracy of reports through review and analysis.
- Assists with and participates in internal and external audits.
- Assists with the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances as well as with the preparation of detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts. Records data and statistical information. Assists with reconciliations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prepares, designs, and develops analysis and detailed reporting on financial measures, trends, and strategic business initiatives.
- Provides financial analysis support to various areas of the company. Communicates effectively with both internal and external customers, following up on questions and discrepancies.
Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations
- 4 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis required; healthcare environment experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job duties, and which meets any required state or federal certification requirements.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.
64,480.00 - 85,973.33If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
