About the UNH Foundation (UNHF) and UNH Development: Established in 1989, UNHF exists to build private support for the university with the goal of strengthening programs, supporting students, and providing new opportunities for faculty excellence. UNHF wrapped up “CELEBRATE 150: The Campaign for UNH” in 2018, successfully raising over $300M from 45,000+ donors, and is now working through its next fundraising campaign set to conclude in 2027. The UNH Development team advances the mission of the university by inspiring private giving among alumni, parents/families, friends, employees, corporations and foundations. By building and strengthening relationships, our donor-centered approach connects stakeholders’ passions and philanthropic goals to opportunities to support the university priorities that matter to them. Our team produces meaningful and lasting impact for students and our state, embraces diverse perspectives, commits to professional growth, and is breaking UNH fundraising records. With annual giving, leadership giving, major and principal giving, planned giving, and foundation relations and support staff, our team is structured to ensure every level of the donor pyramid is poised to grow for success in the short and long-term. While most Development team members are assigned to fundraise for a specific unit across UNH and a few positions work across the university, we are a unified Development group that embraces a culture in which we all succeed, and we maximize collective fundraising success for UNH.
