Who you are:
As an HR Business Partner for Catholic Medical Center, your results-oriented approach makes you the perfect partner with leadership, employees, and cross-functional groups to provide Human Resources support to accomplish department and organization objectives. You carry out complex tasks/projects/assignments with ease and you are known for your excellent judgement.
What you’ll do:
- Implement department and service line strategies to support mission, organizations, and goals in workforce excellence.
- Engage with both internal and external customers in a confident, professional and collaborative manner while successfully managing conflict as necessary.
- Serve as a resource to all employees in the fair and consistent resolution of employment related issues through alignment with CMC policies, procedures and core values.
- Drive strategic HR initiatives which increase employee engagement and support the business.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Compensation to understand department needs, requirements, and skills that translate into an effective job description.
- Participate in other HR activities as assigned
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ Human Resources business partner experience in healthcare or other matrix organization inclusive of recruitment, workforce planning, succession management, employee relations and/or labor relations and compensation & benefits.
- Experience working with a human resources information system, including data entry and report generation preferred.
- Excellent accuracy with detail, strong, positive interpersonal skills, ability to work in a collaborative manner.
- Solid operational HR experience with proven employee relations coaching across multiple departments
- Ability to influence and effect change in cross functional and matrix teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external clients.
- Knowledge of State and Federal laws governing employment activities, such as FLSA, EEO, youth employment and employment security.
- BA or BS, Business Administration, Human Resources or hospital administration or similar field
Note: This is a hybrid role. You are typically in the office 3 days/week and remote for 2 days/week. This is subject to change, based upon business needs.
