Assist five full-time Dietitians in fueling the Notre Dame student-athletes to their highest potential. Various duties include the following: making smoothies and other snacks, manning fuel station, stocking fuel stations, attending practice, managing inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies (FIFO), cleaning and organizing various fuel stations and storage facilities, assisting Registered Dietitians with other duties as assigned. The temp worker will work varying hours each week including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
The temp position is intended to span the entire summer from June 5th-August 20th with the option to continue into the fall; start and end date flexible. This is an hourly paid position offering $15/hour for 20-35 hours/week. Benefits are NOT included.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently attending college; attention to details; must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work early mornings and the occasional weekend. As well as…..
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and maintain professionalism.
- Ability to work as part of a team and possess a friendly demeanor.
- A strong interest in sports nutrition.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous food service experience or passion for nutrition
- Experience: Some experience in a sports nutrition related field is preferable. Some experience in a food service-related field is preferable.
