Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Those with prior construction experience will be given first consideration.
  • Prior construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Candidates must have basic mechanical aptitude and experience, demonstrated ability to absorb formal training and schooling, and be physically able to do heavy manual labor with good safety habits.
  • Must be able to utilize OSHA approved and standard company equipment.

This is a Union Represented position - Represented by Local IBEW 465.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the California Public Utilities Commission have adopted regulations governing the control of drug use by persons in certain job classifications. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test. Once in the job and driving/ licensure/ permitting requirements are met, successful bidders will be subject to mandated testing.
