Adjunct Instructor
Job Description
Rockford University is seeking adjunct instructors to join our Puri School of Business team. If you have a passion for educating and want to join a team of dedicated faculty, we invite you to apply for Fall 2024 in-person teaching opportunities.
Adjunct instructors will teach 16-week courses that may include Principles of Marketing. Digital Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Sales Strategies, and Creativity and Innovation. Master’s degree and equivalent professional experience in their field, required. Preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience at the college level.
Upon competition of the 2024-2025 academic year, the hired faculty may be given the opportunity to continue at Rockford University as a tenure-track instructor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop course curriculum
· Deliver lectures and lead class discussions in-person and/or online format
· Assign homework and projects to help your students learn the material
· Offer additional help outside of class
· Administer final exams
· Complete grading and other administrative work in a timely manner
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Master's degree in your field
· Professional experience
· Teaching experience (preferred)
· Strong communication skills
· Computer proficiency
