General Description

This position will be located at the WCJC Richmond Campus. 

The College Recruiter serves as a student recruiter and will assist with all aspects of prospective student outreach and engagement. The College Recruiter must serve as an exemplary representative of Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) at community outreach events, and seek to provide a welcoming and engaging initial experience for prospective students.

 

Requirements

This position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.   This position requires skills in communication and engaging with students and/or adult learners. This position requires computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with database information.   The individual in this position must have excellent organizational skills. The person in this position must be able to provide continuous courteous customer service to students, parents, the community, staff, and administration.   A criminal background check is also required.
