We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s diverse student body as a Part Time Lecturer of School of Accountancy Spring 2025.

The Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship is AACSB-accredited at the graduate and undergraduate levels and offers a Ph.D. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Management, and Marketing.

Minimum Qualifications
The qualifications to be considered for a part time lecturer are: Teaching experience at an AACSB accredited university, or, 4 years of professional experience, an active CPA license, and master’s degree. The candidate must be able to obtain clearance by TSBPA to teach Ethics in the State of Texas.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
Must be scholarly/instructional practitioners under AACSB guidelines; be an effective teacher’ and have effective oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualification
Ability to maintain collegial, collaborative relationships with the faculty and administrators; and ability to foster quality teaching and service.

Salary
Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience.
