Job Summary:
Along with your PI, you will develop a research question within a translational framework. You will define the experimental aims, design the experiment, perform the experiment and be able to independently analyze your results. Along with your PI and mentorship team, these data will be integrated into a meaningful scientific presentation with the goal to publish these results and disseminate to the scientific community. The goal is to build upon your prior research experiences in the enriching scientific environment at the University of Colorado.

Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- PHD
Preferred Qualifications:
- Evidence of successful completion of research projects including a first-authored original article in a relevant area in a peer-reviewed journal within the past 5 years preferred.
- Evidence of experience and competency to seek additional external research funding either individually or as part of a team preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusion in the workplace.
- Proficiency in scientific communication as evidenced by peer-reviewed conference proceedings (journals) manuscripts and presentations at national or international conferences.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE NIH Post-doc
$61,008 with $2,000 for relocation and $4,000 for a recruitment incentive
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
