Supervision Exercised:
May oversee, on a day-to-day basis, student/temporary assistant(s) as assigned during the academic term.
General Statement of Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, this multi-tasking accounting position is responsible for managing student billing, collections, and financial record-keeping for the Finance Office, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Key duties include ensuring accurate billing, processing payments, and providing clear and effective communication with students regarding their accounts. The role also involves coordinating with the Registrar’s Office and Financial Aid Department to resolve any discrepancies, assisting with financial reports and compliance tasks, and offering personalized support to students in setting up repayment plans. This position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and collaboration with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement AA degree in Business or related degree
- Bachelor degree in Business Management or related degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting preferred
- Position involves handling money and will include background investigation.
