Are you good with people and numbers?
Student Financial Services Representatives primarily communicate with students by phone and through email. The Academy is seeking candidates that enjoy this type of communication, who have a strong sense of organization and time management, have high adaptability, enjoy working with others and can manage multiple priorities with ease. This is an onsite position, located on campus in San Francisco.
What You’ll Achieve:
- Manage a portfolio of students through the financial aid process through proactive outreach by phone and email
- Set students up for success and provide guidance regarding aid eligibility as well as the general responsibilities for financial aid programs
- Connect students to
- Think outside the box and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- Gain database skills in Salesforce and Excel
- Enhance communication skills over the phone and email
Qualifications:
- At least 1-year Financial Aid experience required
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree, or relevant experience
- Previous experience working in a customer service or transactional role
- Passionate about student success and higher education
- Empathetic, patient, and positive
- Excellent phone and written communication skills
- Able to thrive in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time
Compensation: $24.04 per hour
