Summary of Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions, Enrollment Operations, this position will support new and ongoing strategic enrollment initiatives, data and processes. It will provide pre-admissions and enrollment support for programs with and without recruitment staff by (1) building, maintaining and updating automated recruitment email campaigns, (2) monitoring data entry points such as data loads, web forms, and the online application to ensure data integrity and accuracy, (3) providing training and assistance to Graduate School constituents and partners with basic questions and recruitment needs regarding reporting, email automation, dashboards and general process improvement.

Duty/Responsibility

Enrollment Operations
  • Serve as the main point person for recruitment communication flows and build, maintain, update and analyze Automated Enrollment Email Campaigns
    • Assist with gathering content from departments for automated email campaigns
    • Create and update email templates utilizing content blocks and dynamic logic
    • Build reports for various email audiences
    • Schedule and monitor email campaigns
    • Report on and analyze campaign metrics to determine effectiveness and provide recommendations on potential enhancements
  • Serve as the main point person for event data management by working collaboratively with recruitment staff to create and manage events within the system
    • Create events within the system using a standard process that facilitates the analysis of the full recruitment and admissions funnel.
    • Manage how leads are generated within the system (through web forms or data loads) from events to ensure data accuracy and integrity
    • Assist with reporting on efficacy of events
  • Manage the bi-annual data load and utilization of the current UNH Undergraduate Student List for recruitment purposes as well as the data load of key prospective student lists like McNair and National Name Exchange to support recruitment of diverse audiences.
    • Work with CRM team to update the data load field mappings and values and review the data once loaded
    • Work with marketing and recruitment teams to design email templates to promote graduate programs and upcoming events
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the UNH undergraduate audience is not overcommunicated to
    • Work with CRM to create tasks logging outreach done outside of the system to UNH undergrads

Duty/Responsibility

Data Management
  • Manage the creation of new programs, program name changes or program closures to ensure all entry points to the system reflect accurately the programs we offer and internal workflows operate as expected
  • Run weekly error reports and fix not only the data errors but help to determine the root cause of the error (either system or human) and propose solutions
  • Support departments with new data load requests by assisting with mapping, advising on what data load to use and working with the CRM team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with testing new operational solutions designed to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Training & Support
  • Provide ongoing training and support to both new and existing recruitment staff and application reviewers to help ensure data accuracy and process efficiency
  • Provide support on basic reporting questions and assist with building new reports for departments when needed

  • Respond to walk-in, email and telephone inquiries from prospective and current applicants, students, faculty, and staff on all matters concerning admission status, student status, Graduate School policies, etc. and track and follow-up with prospective applicants.
