Lecturer - Marketing and Interdisciplinary Business
Job Description
The School of Business seeks a Senior Lecturer (full-time, non-tenure track) to teach courses in the legal environment, to begin Fall 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effective teaching, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include teaching introductory, core, and advanced level courses in the legal environment of business to undergraduate students including, for example, employment law, contract law and other topics relevant to business. Responsibilities will also include service on department, school, and college-level committees, and advising undergraduate majors and pre-law students.
Candidates should be committed to further enhancing our collegial environment among all students and faculty demonstrated through culturally responsive course design and pedagogy, equity-minded student engagement and mentorship, and the development of intercultural competencies needed for meaningful citizenship.
Minimal Qualifications: JD, LLM or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in undergraduate, law school, professional or other setting.
