Staffing Coordinator, Advanced - Talent Acquisition

Your Role
The Talent Acquisition Team aspires to be a world-class talent organization that hires, develops, and mobilizes top talent. The Staffing Coordinator, Advanced, will report directly to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations. In this role, key responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling interviews, reviewing background checks, and supporting one of several business units within Talent Acquisition with their recruiting needs.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Support and execute on high-volume business unit specific hiring plans
- Coordinate interview scheduling and staffing activities for all interviews for both on-site and virtually to deliver a superior experience to both internal and external clients and provide consistent status updates to candidates and hiring managers
- Facilitate new hire process including completing new hire transactions in our Applicant Tracking System, initiate and facilitate the background check process, and produce weekly updates to the Talent Acquisition Team
- Manage the interview scheduling process which includes the collection of feedback within our Applicant Tracking System
- Track and communicate updates to Talent Advisors and new hires coming onboard
- Complete I-9 onboarding process for new hires
- Coordinate with Service team to have all new hire data correct and complete on a weekly basis
- Work closely with Talent Advisors to execute timely hiring for all new hires
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED
- Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Experience with scheduling complex interviews through Outlook preferred
- Oracle Recruiting Cloud Experience highly recommended
- Organizational skills with attention to details and the ability to prioritize work effectively in an environment with high demands
- Agile personality ready to adjust to a fast-paced moving work environment
Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $22.69 to $31.77 for California.
Note: Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
