Job Summary

This position involves data management, analytical and statistical activities for research within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

We are seeking a data analyst who will work with research faculty within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This position is a 2-year appointment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently. They must understand both database and research complexities, and apply problem-solving techniques utilizing existing and emerging scientific knowledge.

Responsibilities*

This position involves a wide range of tasks including data management, programming and statistical analysis using both existing data and newly-collected data. This position will also be expected to provide statistical training to collaborators. Specifically, the position includes the following responsibilities:

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
