Zeis Textiles Extension (ZTE) in the Wilson College of Textiles is seeking a project manager to work on their Engines project sponsored by NSF. The primary duties of this position include:
Manage the RFP process for Engines
Manage the RFP process for Engines
- Communicate with Engines leadership on applications and status
- Coordinate with applicants and reviewers
- Support successful applicants through the onboarding process
Project Management for Engines
- Collaborate with faculty to support project management for a portfolio of more than 30 research projects and liaise with the research teams for progress updates, deadlines and budget requests
- Data entry into Click Up project management software
- Support R&D Strategy and Implementation
- Lead special event programing for Engines in collaboration with Wilson College faculty
Engines Workforce Development
- Develop and Implement strategy for creating and delivering new, research- and technology-based professional education modules

Minimum Experience/Education
- Master’s degree in textile-related field
- 2-5 years of professional experience in project management and textiles research and technical writing

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- Prefer experience in teaching and adult learning
- Prefer experience in a textile research lab
- Prefer textile engineering, technology or chemistry
