• Assists with data entry and other clerical support tasks, as necessary.

• Assists with designing and refining quality assurance processes and systems, focusing on reconciling billings for children's mental health services recorded in charts, on logs, and in the County's data system and ensuring electronic medical records/charts contain appropriate, timely data.

• Follows up on billing corrective action steps.

• Matches billing notations in charts and on logs; reconciles with data entered into County system; verifies for accuracy and completeness.

• The Billing QA Specialist performs other duties as assigned.

• Periodically reviews charts for critical service timelines compliance; reports results to

• Program Coordinators, staff, and leadership.

• Reports on error information to staff and leadership for follow-up steps.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job duties, and which meets any required state or federal certification requirements.

• 1 year of basic accounting or auditing experience preferred.

• 1 year of computer and/or data entry experience preferred.
