In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Job Description:
Westchester Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach studio foundation courses in drawing, 2d and 3d design, graphic design, animation, photography, and time-based media. Adjunct faculty actively participate in all departmental assessments and classroom management requirements. Adjunct faculty also provide regular and timely feedback to students and supervisors and provide innovative classroom instruction to promote student success.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a Master's degree and one (1) year of college level teaching experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of college level teaching, at the community college level, is strongly preferred.
Additional Information:
SALARY & BENEFITS: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.
