Division of Student Success Front Desk Representative

Job Description

Purpose of Position: 
The Front Desk ­­­Representative is a key member of the Division of Student Success team and will assist with managing the front desk in the Office of the Dean of Student Success. The primary role of the front desk representative will be to provide support to students, staff, faculty/instructors, and campus guests in accessing Division of Student Success support services and other CCA offices.

JOB DUTIES
Customer Service:

  • Serve as the informational liaison between visitors and students for CCA community Division of Student Success.
  • Provide guidance and support to visitors and students via telephone, email, website, drop-in visits and other strategies.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors of the College.
  • Complete job-related training modules including: FERPA, Title XI, Confidentiality, DEI, Suicide Prevention, Effective Communication, CSA Clery Compliance training, etc.
  •  Maintain front desk office space and visitor seating area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, poster printing, flyer creation, event set up and tear down, tabling, etc. 
  • Engage as an active member of the Division of Student Success team and attend team related events

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Reliable transportation to and from events on and off campus
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with diverse student populations 
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have completed FAFSA on file
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
  • Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be seeking an eligible program of study
