Shifts Available:

Part Time .6; AM/DAYS Shift; Wednesday and Thursday

Part Time .6: AM/DAYS Shift; Saturday and Sunday

Expected starting wage range is $19.67 - $23.71. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Staffing Scheduler performs all scheduling and timekeeping responsibilities for designated programs. This includes performing all day-to-day shift management and deployment activities to meet the staffing needs of assigned programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

* High school diploma or G.E.D.

* One (1) year of direct experience in an office or administrative setting

* Word and other computer skills

* Ability to self-manage time and meet assigned deadlines with accuracy

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual or local requirements may apply

Preferred:

* At least one (1) year of direct experience in staff scheduling preferably in healthcare setting

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Demonstrate the Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholders

* Within 24 - 48 hours of shift time, allocate resource/float pool staff to units based on needs, using technology and communication skills.

* Receive sick calls or last-minute change requests from staff and/or programs

* Use technology and other available resources to meet changing needs

* Provide communication back to program contacts

* Approve or deny shift swaps with communication to staff and program managers

* Assist with time edits

* Assist with editing monthly program schedules to meet applicable regulatory requirements

* Assign specialty roles particular to each program's operational needs

* Approve or deny all timecard requests with attestations, with communication to unit managers as appropriate.

* Prepare timecards for readiness for manager/program approval

* Review and clean up exceptions, assist team members when available to meet other requirements of the team

* Ensures compliance with Telecare's policies and procedures

Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and/or changed at the discretion of management.

SKILLS

* Basic to intermediate skill using Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and scheduling and timekeeping software and reporting tool

* Able to communicate well, team build, and problem solve

* Good customer relationship skills

* Able to identify and remove barriers to change

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, twist and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently sit, walk, reach, bend and do simple and firm grasping occasionally. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity and to occasionally drive.
