Assistant Manager of Education Programs
The Assistant Manager of Education Programs will support the Senior Manager of Education Programs in overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of BTF’s educational initiatives. This position will work alongside the Senior Manager of Education Programs and the education team to coordinate continuing medical education (CME) activities, manage logistical aspects of events, facilitate communication with faculty, and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about improving healthcare education.

- Reports to: Senior Manager of Education Programs
Travel Requirement: This position may require travel to our conference/event sites in WA state or outside WA state which may include overnight stays.
Physical Ability: May be required to occasionally carry/lift/transport suitcases/bags/s containing conference materials from/to the Binaytara Foundation office or another designated place to conferences sites. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required to load/off load those materials. Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
The Binaytara Foundation Education Academy:
The team at the Binaytara Foundation Education Academy includes an education committee led by expert oncologists in the US, the Medical Education Director, the Senior Manager of Education Programs, the Assistant Managers of Education Program, Continuing Education Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, and hundreds of faculties from institutions across the country and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Educational Program Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing in-person and virtual CME conferences, OncoBlast games, and other educational initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with CME, CNE, and CPE accreditation standards.
- Work with faculty and educational committees to maintain high-quality content for programs.
- Facilitate timely communication with faculty to confirm participation, coordinate schedules, and gather presentation materials.
- Support content updates for The Cancer News to maintain its role as a trusted oncology resource.
2. Event Support:
- Coordinate logistics for educational events, including scheduling, registration, and attendee communications.
- Develop and maintain event timelines and checklists to ensure seamless execution.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty, vendors, and internal teams to address logistical needs and event-related queries.
3. Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Collaborate with the CME team and global health interns to ensure alignment with program goals.
- Provide guidance to interns, enhancing their educational and professional experience.
4. Administrative Support:
- Prepare reports and collect feedback for events and initiatives.
- Maintain organized records of educational activities and their outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, education, public health, or healthcare administration.
- 5-7 years of experience in program coordination, event planning, or healthcare education.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with digital learning platforms and project management tools is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
