Job Description

The Plaster School of Business at Missouri Southern State University seeks a part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach finance courses. The current teaching need is in the undergraduate Finance program, Bank Management. There may also be an opportunity to teach an online graduate level course.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with focus in Finance (i.e., MBA in Finance, Masters in Finance)
  • Industry experience or teaching experience in finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD with an emphasis in Finance
  • Professional licenses

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare course syllabus and course site in line with stated course objectives
  • Grade coursework in a timely manner
  • Promptly respond to students’ email
  • Follow university policies and procedures related to reporting requirements (syllabus, course roster, and grades)
