Applications are invited for a post of Lecturer in the Department of Health Studies. The post is to join a team for the new course MSc pre-reg Occupational Therapy launching in September 2024. The Department of Health Studies is part of the School of Life Sciences and the Environment alongside the Departments of Biological Sciences, Psychology, Earth Sciences, and Geography. We are forward thinking, multidisciplinary and research active. We are a new department developing a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Global Health and the environment. We are ambitious and value partnership working to create solutions for the challenges in the world today.

We seek outstanding individuals to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. This post will be offered on either the teaching focussed, or professional practice route.

This new post will support the leading and delivery of the new MSc Pre-reg Occupational Therapy degree which will begin in 2024/25 fulfilling the leadership and coordination of the placement element of this course. This position is open to registered UK occupational therapists. We are particularly interested in passionate occupational therapists with an interest in Planetary Health and how this could translate to innovative placements. Candidates with knowledge and experience in health education and placement development is desirable.  We also expect leadership and an effective contribution to course or department administration or projects improving the student experience.

The post is available from July 2024 and the successful applicant will be based in our Campus in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park.
