Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking an experienced Dean to provide visionary leadership for a diverse range of programs within Corporate and Continuing Education. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate and Continuing Education, the Dean will oversee program and discipline chairs across multiple campuses, manage a multi-million-dollar budget, and play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and enhancement of educational facilities.
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience as a dean or department chair, with a strong background in program development, strategic planning, and community engagement. The Dean will collaborate closely with business and industry partners as well as local high schools to support career readiness and college promise programs, actively fostering relationships that enhance the college’s role in the community.
This leadership position requires an individual with substantial academic expertise, a successful record in managing community college programs, and demonstrated leadership in guiding faculty and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, be highly motivated and community-focused, and committed to driving innovation within the college’s educational programs.
